The letter shown at the top was written by a visitor to the Club. And sent to the secretary of Cornwall County RBL. The letter is self explanatory. It reflects how successful the Club has been in attracting visitors– many of whom become fulltime members of the RBL.
Different photographs throughout this archive show the changing interior ( more of this on following pages ). Successive committees have balanced the accounts with redecoration,
improved facilities, fresh ideas etc whilst maintaining bar prices at a competitive level.
Most of the pictures taken are of special events, but with its varying entertainment including Sunday lunchtime Jazz or Cape Cornwall Singers, the Club proves itself to be a popular and welcoming place– the envy of many a Legion visitor from both local and ‘up-country’ clubs.
This section is placed here, simply because the 2006 date of the above letter.
The Club is the visible HQ of The Royal British Legion in Mousehole.
