When Simon Weston appeared in the
village on a private visit to open the
Carnival, it provided a wonderful opportunity to invite him into Legion Hall
and award him the honorary role of vice— president to the Branch.
The Bungee Jumpers Milton, Daniel, Dai ) plus their Walk ( see page 74) raised over £1000 for the Appeal.
