Mousehole’s Royal British Legion Branch has inaugurated a
YOUTH PROJECTS INITIATIVE whereby local youngsters are encouraged to participate in a ‘character enhancing ‘project.
Tall Ships Voyages, Theatre workshops, Outward Bound and such like were the sort of experiences we had in mind because they entailed working away from the village, meeting people from different places and backgrounds and would be a plus on any c.v.
The individual is always asked to raise about 20% of the total cost,write a report of how they benefitted from their experience and send some photos for our website (www.trblmousehole.co.uk
25 young persons have taken part so far, and, we believe, broadened their horizons as a result.
THE RBL IN MOUSEHOLE SEES THIS AS AN IMPORTANT PART OF OUR WORK FOR THE COMMUNITY
