Jottings taken from committee meetings now jump to 1976.
There had been nothing of amusing or controversial to note.
The same matters which have already been referred to were repeated– use of facilities by non– members, decoration of premises, beer prices etc.
There appears to have been a period of stability through this period.

Sep Bar shutters to be lowered when bar is not open Admittance to Saturday dances to remain at 50p
Oct Geoff Nicholls to become President
Mr & Mrs Buttery reported for disturbance in the Club
Club to pay membership fee for Mr Roger Hough ( Old Coastguard Hotel )

Jan No more Associate members ( non ex service ) until further notice
Feb New centre panel for the Standard to be obtained April Letter to be sent to Jack Pender re—his behaviour
Donation made towards WS Standard
Women’s section to be allowed to use the bar on occasions
May Visitors Book to be inspected at committee meetings Visitors to be made ‘temporary members’
Aug Local senior member to be ‘doorman’ to inspect cards and check on non- members
Sept Idea of a duty doorman is abandoned
Wire meshes to be fitted over rear windows - but not to front ones
Marrack Torrie banned for three months -
( later meeting informed that this procedure was incorrect as the member should
have first received a warning letter )
Steward’s contract to be dawn up. Wage set at £55 per week. Estimates to be sought for proposed new committee room
